TLC was held this year at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, from June 30 to July 2. The conference consisted of a variety of workshops. Topics included Risk Management and the Alcohol Free Initiative, Running Effective Meetings, a Core Values program that discussed our goals for the future of Alpha Gamma Delta, sisterhood activities, Marketing the Greek Experience and a philanthropy activity on learning how to run a philanthropy recruitment event. Each workshop was rewarding both on an educational and interesting level. Along with attending the workshops, I had the opportunity to meet and talk to girls from all over the country, who I will now be able to keep in touch with. I also received many resources which I will be able to take back to my chapter to create a more successful and flourishing chapter.

The Gamma Sigma chapter [at Troy State University] has many members in big campus leadership positions. Heather Hines is the new Student Government Association President, and Hilary West is the new SGA Clerk. Jennifer Martin was elected President of the Order of Omega, Dana Lang just finished her term as the President of GAMMA (Greeks Advocating Mature Management of Alcohol), and Misty Russell was the last President of the Association for Childhood Education. We are definitely shining all over campus!

A Delaware Area Junior Circle is forming! All Alpha Gam Alumnae aged 35 or younger are encouraged to participate. This is a great way for you to meet new sisters as well as plan events that fit your busy schedules. Please contact Kim Elsworth at KMEFSUALUM@aol.com for more information.
