AlphaGam.Net News
Wow, it's been more than two years since we registered our domain, alphagam.net, and
started creating this website. This site started as a compilation of some resources that
were scattered between the Alpha Mu, Zeta Chi and a few non-AGD sites and has grown into a
great resource site for members of Alpha Gamma Delta. We've had a lot of fun maintaining
this site over the past two plus years. It's certainly been a learning experience as well!
By maintaining this site, we have been able to expand upon our own webdesign knowledge,
while helping others who are just getting started.
We'd like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported us and this website. We hope you will continue to support this site and spread the word about it in the years to come. Elise Friedman, AM'92
Introducing... ![]()
Alpha Gamma Delta Cyber Circle is our new name for the AGD Webring. The ring is now fully
hosted by AlphaGam.Net, instead of by the company named "WebRing" that was previously
hosting it. Webmasters of AGD sites are in the process of migrating their sites to the
new Cyber Circle, so both rings will remain active until the migration is complete. Users
shouldn't notice any difference in the operation of the ring once the migration is complete.
Along with the name change, the Cyber Circle also has a new website address and a new logo. If you currently have the logo or a link to the webring on your own website, please be sure to update them! The new address is http://www.alphagam.net/cybercircle/. Logos are available for download from the new webpage.
New Discussion Boards
Two specialized discussion boards have been created recently:
Quotes Board - This board was suggested by Arin Cox, Theta Upsilon. Use this board to post your favorite quotes about sisterhood, friendship, or any other topic that comes to mind. Poems are welcome too! Starting a New Alumnae Organization - This board is for Alpha Gams to share ideas on how to successfully start a new Junior Circle, alumnae club or alumnae chapter. The idea for this board stemmed from there being quite a few new Junior Circles trying to form this year. We hope these new Junior Circles, as well as groups formed over the past couple years, will share their experiences with getting started. Have a suggestion for a new board? Email us and let us know!
